It’s a week now after the burial of our dear colleague Fortune Msipa.

We are reminded of the warmth and unity that marked the celebration of a life well-lived.  The CPS family solemnly remembers a man whose impact was as profound as the gatherings of those who came to honor him.

We stood together, unified by the shared loss of a man who was more than a co-worker. We assembled at his rural homestead with his family, friends and neighbours, under a weeping sky. It rained throughout the funeral. 

A moment of introspection.....colleagues and loved ones gather around, some in contemplative silence, others perhaps whispering prayers or sharing memories. It’s a unifying scene of collective mourning, a community brought closer in the face of loss.

From these snapshots in time, one can glean the essence of Fortune Msipa: a man who inspired unity, who pursued his vision with relentless passion, and who, even in his departure, continues to bring people together. As we reflect on his legacy, let us find solace in the knowledge that his impact will live on through those he inspired.
